SCHOOL OF PRAYER - DAY 5. SUMMARY OF THE MESSAGES

 Our major text in this school has been;

1 Peter 4: 7- “But the end of all things is at hand, therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers”.

These are very dangerous times, the last days, the final hour. We need to be serious and watchful in our prayers. If you are not fervent in these times, you will be swept off.

We have seen that, the two prayers that will keep us in shape and alert, and are readily available to us are,

-Praying in the Holy Ghost

-Thanksgiving

You do not need to “feel” like giving God thanks or praying in the Holy Ghost before you do them.

If we will make spiritual discoveries at the rate science is making scientific discoveries, we must engage in fasting and praying.

Fasting does not change God but changes you. Fasting subdues the flesh.

In the course of fasting and waiting upon the Lord, we receive:

-Instruction

-Direction- There will be no more guessing when direction comes

-Anointing - you are emptied for the Spirit of God to come upon you

Jesus is our reference point, our perfect example. In Jesus, everything is resolved and He’s the one we are to look to, consider, and follow in His steps. Jesus did and taught. Anybody that wants to lead/mentor, must be committed to DOING and TEACHING. Jesus fasted, He taught on fasting, we also should fast and pray. And except by fasting and praying, callings, giftings, anointing, will not be effective and maximized.

We should prepare for every phase with fasting and praying. Besides, we must make up our minds to serve the Lord with fastings. We have to stop thinking like natural people.

To be effective, events and circumstances must not be allowed to regulate our lives.

You do not need to be led to fast and pray. As you do this regularly, the Holy Ghost will lead you concerning very specific dealings to embark on. When we embrace the principles of God’s word, we give God room to give us specific instructions that will cause us to stand out. God does not do what we want Him to do. He does what He wants to do. The only time He does what we want Him to do, is when what we want aligns with His.

God has a desire, that desire is to shake the nations of the earth so that His power and glory will be revealed. Hag. 2:6-7.

Prayer

- Lord, let it rain. Zech. 10:1

- Lord, the great and mighty things I need to know concerning 2021, show me. Jer. 33:1-3

- Oh, Lord, by the workings of your Spirit, fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding concerning 2021 in the name of Jesus. Col.1:9

- Lord, go ahead of us in 2021 and do what you have purposed to do, do your biddings, do your will. Is. 45:1-3

- Lord, I surrender. Here I am

- Lord, as I wait on you, I receive strength for the journey/year ahead, wisdom for the affairs of the year ahead. Is. 40:31

Let's pray for our children. Our children will pant after God. They will know the Lord for themselves, they will serve the Lord wholeheartedly.

Declaration

We having the same spirit of faith, they believed, therefore they spoke, we believe, therefore we speak;

My heart is fixed trusting in the Lord no room for fear of any kind

Because my heart is fixed

My mind is stayed on God

I am kept in perfect peace by the Lord, nothing missing, nothing lacking, nothing broken

My strength is renewed to finish 2020 strong and I enter 2021 strong
